News - It Doesn't Get any Bigger than...What?

Do you set goals for yourself?  Do you achieve them or do you lose sight of them and forget what they are?  We forgot what our goals were but it turns out we've achieved most of them anyway....well sort of.

We've had a lot of really exciting things happening in the last year - but it's only by looking back, that we realised how many of our goals we've actually reached.  

• We wanted to be stocked by a national retailer and thanks to Zu Shoes, we are!
• We wanted to be part of a celebrity wedding - and thanks to the lovely Kate Ritchie and her bridesmaids - we were!
• We wanted to be on sale internationally - and we've blitzed that goal by partnering with one of the biggest distributors in Europe!
• We wanted to be in over one hundred shops - and guess what, we're in nearly one thousand - mostly in the UK!.
• We wanted to be in a big department store and we are - but it's not in Australia!  Thanks Debenhams for being the first!
• We wanted to be part of the Melbourne Cup celebrations - and thanks to Westpac we were in the Birdcage itself!

There's also some we haven't managed.  We wanted to get Kylie wearing a pair and she hasn't been in touch. Come on Kylie!  We thought Oprah might like them but we never got anywhere near her.  

We also thought we would have more interest from our friends in New Zealand but the brides on Waiheki Island will have to suffer sinking heels for a little bit longer!  Still a lovely view though...

This September Starlettos will turn officially 2 years old and we're going to set another set of goals for the next 12 months.  We might even ask for your help in conming up with them.  The funny thing is that it's not even September yet and thanks to the email we got this morning it looks like we're going to achieve something we didn't even dream of.  Literally we can't think of anything bigger - at least not while we're still smaller than Louis Vuitton and Gucci.

So what is our latest achievement????

Sorry...Can't say.  Not yet anyway...(I know, it's worse than a Masterchef cliff-hanger!)... but keep an eye out and we'll let you know soon - or we might run a little competition to see who can guess.

But it is BIG!  Promise! Stay tuned!
